Today we practice the rhythmic foundation. These exercises will prepare your body technically so that it is easy to be musical to different tempos of music.
- We perform a pulsation in eighth notes and accentuate the 2nd and 4th beats using the "increase in the amplitude of movement" technique. It is necessary to work out each part of the body for 30-60 seconds. Advantages of this exercise:
- expands the range of possible movements
- gives tempo stability
- teaches you to focus on any movement. The presence of accents makes the dance more lively, musical and groove, without especially straining! Remember this life hack when going out to jam, battle or rock out with friends on the dance floor.
- Add the following rhythmic pattern to the pulse at the knees in eighth notes: | ♫ ♩ ♫ ♩ |. Work out this rhythm with all parts of the body while performing the pulse at the knees in eighths and accentuating every 2nd and 4th beats.< /li>
- An exercise with an asterisk for coordination of movement: one hand makes the pulse in eighths, and the other rhythmic pattern | ♫ ♩♫ ♩| .
